Thomas Reappointed to the Franklin County Public Defender Commission

The Judges of the Franklin County Court of Common Pleas have appointed Taft Columbus partner David Thomas to a second five-year term on the Franklin County Public Defender Commission (FCPD.) The commission appoints and provides oversight to the Franklin County Public Defender, which is one of the largest legal offices in Ohio and the county's designated agency for providing comprehensive legal services to indigent persons in criminal, juvenile, and custody proceedings.

Thomas is a fellow in The American College of Trial Lawyers and is listed in Chambers USA as a leading lawyer in white-collar crime and government investigations. As a partner in Taft's Compliance, Investigations, and White Collar Defense practice group, he advises and represents companies, executives, public officials, health care providers, and other professionals subject to state and federal investigations and prosecutions.
