City crews are busy monitoring conditions and responding to downed trees or obstructions in the public right-of-way. High winds caused a tree Tuesday to topple at Oso Creek Golf Course, which posed no danger or damage as well as a private tree in a homeowner's association that fell on a vehicle. HOA officials responded to that incident. No one was reported injured.
Residents are encouraged to take precautions during severe winds and elevated wildfire conditions and report downed trees in the public right-of-way to [email protected] or online. During these high wind periods and Red Flag warnings, residents should also reduce any activities that can produce sparks. Learn more and view OC Fire Watch sites at https://bit.ly/FirewatchSites.
