For the record: Legendary Chicago music venue Empty Bottle is marking 33 & 1/3 years of community, culture, and unforgettable live music with a once-in-a-generation celebration: an extra-special series of shows running October 31 through November 10, 2025. Surprise guests are being unveiled weekly in the run up to this milestone anniversary, with Cindy Lee, The Pains of Being Pure at Heart, Soul Glo and Whitney already announced.
Additional anniversary happenings include a Happy Hour pop-up in Pizza Friendly Pizza with DJ sets prior to the shows, alongside limited edition 33 1/3rd posters and merchandise designed by Bill Connors, a record fair and tattoo pop-up event on November 9th featuring Drag City and Decoraters Tattoo, and The Bottle Birthday Raffle, with tickets available for purchase every night of the anniversary series benefiting Midwest Midwest Immigration Bond Fund, Chicago Abortion Fund and Brave Space Alliance. The raffle will feature gifts from Chicago staples like The Field Museum, The Salt Shed, Logan Arcade and so many more.
