CU to dismiss classes for Labor Day
Cameron University will dismiss classes on Monday, Sept. 7, to give students a day off to enjoy Labor Day.
Faculty and administrative offices will also be closed that day, as will the CU Testing Center and the Cameron Bookstore. The Eugene D. McMahon Library will observe normal operating hours during the weekend but will be closed on Labor Day.
The campus wellness center will be closed, but staff notes that students with medical needs can meet with a provider virtually through the university's TimelyCare app.
No athletic events are on the schedule for Sept. 7.
One campus facility that will be in operation on Labor Day will be the Aggie Rec Center, which will be open from 8 a.m. until 6 p.m.
All campus operations will return to normal when classes resume on Tuesday, Sept. 8.
