Why This Campaign Matters

We know our community cares. When you see someone asking for help on the street, it's natural to want to give. But handing out spare change can unintentionally prolong the cycle of homelessness. Please discourage panhandling. Well-meaning donations like cash or supplies can unintentionally discourage people from accepting help, making it harder for the City to assist them.

Real Change offers a better way - by connecting your generosity directly to local programs that provide housing, mental health care, food assistance, and job support. Together, we can make a lasting difference.
