City Services Labor Day Schedule

In observance of Labor Day, City of Grand Prairie administrative offices will be closed on Monday, Sept. 7. Labor Day holiday hours for other city services are as follows:

• Garbage Collection/Recycling - The landfill will be closed on Monday, Sept. 7. Garbage collection will shift to the next day after the holiday. Recycling will be picked up on Thursday, Sept 10. Residents in far south Grand Prairie who have rolling garbage and recycling carts will receive garbage and recycling pick up on Thursday, Sept. 10. Visit https://www.gptx.org/garbage

• Libraries - closed, items can be renewed online at gptx.org/library. All libraries have book drops for the return of items after-hours. Items can also be returned at the Lake Parks Book Locker.
  
  
• Water bill payment offices - closed
  
  
• Charley Taylor, Tony Shotwell and Dalworth Recreation Centers, Epic Rec and The Summit - closed
  
  
• Prairie Lakes Golf Course - open with normal hours and holiday pricing
  
  
• Tangle Ridge Golf Club - open with normal hours and holiday pricing
  
  
• Lynn Creek and Loyd Park - Open with normal hours and holiday pricing
  
  
• Kirby Creek Natatorium - Lap Swim 8 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Open Swim 1 p.m.-6 p.m.
  
  
• McFalls, Tyre and Bowles Pools and Splash Factory Water Playground - open 1 p.m.-6 p.m.
  
  
• Epic Waters Indoor/Outdoor Water Park - open 10 a.m.-8 p.m.
  
  
• Animal Shelter - closed

• Tourist Information Center - open 9 a.m.-5 p.m.
