City of Killeen Holds Annual Fall Clean Up

Residents can bring bulk waste to drop-off locations Oct. 10-11

KILLEEN, Texas (October 6, 2025) - The City of Killeen's Public Works Solid Waste Division will provide roll-off containers for its annual Fall Clean Up event on Friday, October 10, and Saturday, October 11, from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., allowing residents to dispose of their additional waste and bulk items at no cost.

Residents can find roll-off containers in various locations throughout the city. These containers will accept bagged household waste, bulk materials, as well as yard waste and brush.

The following locations will have roll-off containers available for use:

Killeen Special Events Center -
Gravel Parking Lot

3301 South WS Young Drive

Long Branch Park - Parking Lot

1101 Branch Drive

Conder Park - Parking Lot

810 Conder Street

Clear Creek Water Tower*

6520 Clear Creek Road

*Due to the size of the Clear Creek location, we ask that vehicles pulling trailers utilize one of the other locations if possible.

To dispose of extra waste and bulk items at the roll-off containers without incurring any fees, you must present a valid ID along with a utility bill from the City of Killeen. Please be aware that certain hazardous materials, such as tires, vehicle parts, liquids, batteries, rocks or dirt, explosives, and building materials, are not accepted.

Additionally, while construction and demolition materials are not allowed in the containers, they can be disposed of at the transfer station located at 12200 State Highway 195.
