Countywide Community Revitalization Team To Hold Public Meeting January 21

​The Office of Community Revitalization (OCR) cordially invites you to attend the Countywide Community Revitalization Team (CCRT) meeting on Tuesday, January 21^st, at 10 a.m. The meeting will be held in person at the Vista Center Hearing Room 1E-60, 2300 N Jog Rd., West Palm Beach, FL, and will also be accessible virtually and via conference call for your convenience.

This month, we are excited to feature Sherrian Smith, Housing Program Specialist II, and Aundra Lowe, Housing Project & Program Manager with Palm Beach County Department of Housing and Economic Development (HED), as our guest speakers. They will provide valuable insights about the HED Housing Assistance Programs.

The HED programs are designed to assist income-eligible applicants seeking homeownership and/or home preservation. These programs are tailored to help Palm Beach County residents in various ways, such as funding for home rehabilitation, repairs, or the replacement of homes due to significant code violations or deterioration. Additionally, there is funding available for first-time homebuyers, as well as for those who have not owned a home within the last 3 years.

During the meeting, Sherrian and Aundra will discuss the Purchase Assistance, Workforce Housing, Foreclosure Prevention, Emergency Repair, Owner Occupied Housing Rehabilitation, Replacement Housing, Disaster Mitigation, Single Family New Construction, and the Developer Assistance Rental programs.

The CCRT meeting also provides a valuable opportunity for residents to connect with county agencies, OCR partners, and community leaders who are working to make a positive impact across Palm Beach County.
