Home» Nursing Home Salary & Benefits Study: Participation Now Open
Participation is now open for the annual Nursing Home Salary & Benefit Study, conducted in cooperation by LeadingAge's partner Hospital & Healthcare Compensation Service (HCS), and LeadingAge is encouraging our members to participate. The study is recognized as the standard for reliable and comprehensive compensation data, including management salaries, nonmanagement wages, fringe benefits, and other facility metrics.
LeadingAge Partner Hospital & Healthcare Compensation Service (HCS) is conducting its annual Nursing Home Salary & Benefits Study and LeadingAge encourages our members to consider participating. Providers are asked to complete the study's questionnaire by May 11th.
Last year's Nursing Home Report contained data from 917 nursing homes and included data from 111,600+ employees. The results cover salaries, bonus data, and hourly rates for over 100 positions. Compensation data is reported regionally by profit type, unit size, and revenue size, as well as by state and CBSA. The study also covers 19 fringe benefits and includes questions on staffing metrics pertaining to retention/recruitment strategies, including shift differential pay, sign-on bonuses, turnover & vacancy rates, granted/budgeted percent increases, and trend data. The results will be published in July 2026.
To participate:
There is no cost to participate in the studies. LeadingAge member participants may purchase the results at the special and discounted rate of $190 , versus the $400 nonparticipant rate.
Questionnaires may be downloaded at the HCS website. For further information, please contact or (201) 405-0075, ext. 10.
