NIFA Awards $10M in Animal Nutrition, Growth, and Lactation Grants

USDA's National Institute of Food and Agriculture has awarded $10 million to 19 projects as part of the Agriculture and Food Research Initiative's Foundational and Applied Science Animal Nutrition, Growth, and Lactation program area priority. This grant program area priority supports research on animal nutrient utilization and growth, improving the efficiency of and quality of meat, milk, eggs, fish, and animal fiber. It also supports innovative approaches to feed formulation and research into the use of alternative feeds.
