The Northwest Missouri State University B.D. Owens Library's focus on supporting student learning continues Friday, Nov. 7, during its 25th annual Brick & Click Academic Library Conference.

The one-day conference invites library professionals from across the nation to discuss and present on hot topics in academic libraries. This year's conference will convene via Zoom and is open to the public. Click here for more information, including the full program and registration.

Participants will learn more about artificial intelligence, training student employees, library usage and tools, collection management and leadership.

"We hope our participants will get something to feel re-energized," Brandy Brady, Northwest's director of library services and operations, said. "It should give them inspiration for things to try, an uplifting feeling, shared knowledge and maybe we can help solve some problems. If nothing else, we hope other librarians will feel less alone in the work they do. It is really about building community and making connections."
