Roae to Host Property Tax/Rent Rebate Clinics

HARRISBURG - Rep. Brad Roae (R-Crawford/Erie) today announced he is hosting a number of Property Tax/Rent Rebate (PTRR) clinics throughout the 6th Legislative District in the coming weeks.

"It is unnecessary to pay for assistance completing the Property Tax/Rent Rebate application," Roae said. "My staff members are experts in accurately filling out the form. If you come to the event, please be sure to bring your identification, proof of all 2025 income, and a signed rent certificate or property tax receipts."

The clinic dates are:

• Wednesday, Feb. 25, 10:30 a.m. to noon, Stone Memorial Library, 1101 Main St., Conneautville.
• Friday, Feb. 27, 10-11:30 a.m., Springfield Township Building, 13300 Ridge Road, West Springfield.
• Monday, March 2, 10-11:30 a.m., Northwestern Senior Center, 9 Academy St., Albion.
• Wednesday, March 4, 1-2:30 p.m., Cochranton Public Library, 107 W. Pine St., Cochranton.
• Friday, March 6, 9:30-11 a.m., Margaret Shontz Memorial Library, 145 S. Second St., Conneaut Lake.
• Friday, March 6, 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., Bair Family Center, 237 S. Pymatuning St., Linesville.
• Wednesday, March 11, 2-4 p.m., Meadville Public Library, 848 N. Main St., Meadville.
• Wednesday, March 18, 2-4 p.m., Meadville Public Library, 848 N. Main St., Meadville.

The PTRR program is open to those 65 years and older; widows and widowers 50 years and older; and people with disabilities 18 years and older.

Income limits increased again this year to $48,110 for both homeowners and renters. This is due to a 2023 law Roae supported that calls for adjusting the income limit based on annual increases in the Consumer Price Index. Remember to exclude 50% of Social Security when determining income. The maximum rebate is $1,000.

Applications are also available online at mypath.pa.gov.

The 6th Legislative District includes the city of Meadville; Beaver, Conneaut, East Fairfield, East Fallowfield, East Mead, Fairfield, Greenwood, Hayfield, North Shenango, Pine, Randolph, Sadsbury, South Shenango, Spring, Summerhill, Summit, Union, Vernon, Wayne, West Fallowfield, West Mead and West Shenango townships; and Cochranton, Conneaut Lake, Conneautville, Linesville and Springboro boroughs in Crawford County and Conneaut, Elk Creek and Springfield townships and Albion and Cranesville boroughs in Erie County.
