Minister of Foreign Affairs of Belarus M.Ryzhenkov meets Ambassador of China

On February 27, 2026 the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus, Maxim Ryzhenkov, met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to the Republic of Belarus, Zhang Wenchuan.

Within the framework of a traditionally friendly dialogue, the parties exchanged views on current issues of the bilateral and international agenda and discussed the schedule of upcoming contacts between the leadership of the two countries for 2026.

Special attention was paid to cooperation within international organizations to implement initiatives aimed at strengthening stability, restoring peace and security, and ensuring the necessary conditions for cooperation in accordance with the spirit and letter of the UN Charter.

The Minister reaffirmed Belarus's commitment to the "One China" principle, as well as support for the Chinese government's efforts to protect national sovereignty and territorial integrity.

The parties emphasized their readiness to strictly implement all agreements reached by the heads of Belarus and China to strengthen political interaction, expand trade, economic, and investment cooperation, and develop industrial and technological partnerships.
