Celebrate Safely. Stay Legal.

Before you light that fuse, know the law. In the City of Salinas, any firework other than California State Fire Marshal-approved Safe and Sane fireworks is illegal. Property owners and residents may be held responsible for fireworks used at or in front of their home, even if they didn't light them.

Administrative fines start at $1,500 and can reach up to $30,000.

Help keep our community safe this Fourth of July. Prevent fires, protect lives, and celebrate responsibly.
