Public Invited to I-95 Fairfield-Bridgeport Mobility Study Open Houses

The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) will conduct an in-person open house to discuss the I-95 Fairfield and Bridgeport Mobility Study on Wednesday, October 14, 2026, at 5:30 p.m. at Black Rock School in the gymnasium, at 545 Brewster St. in Bridgeport, and a virtual open house on Wednesday, October 21, 2026, at 12:00 p.m.

The I-95 Fairfield and Bridgeport Mobility Study addresses safety, mobility, operations, and multimodal needs throughout the corridor. These meetings will present the study findings and potential concepts while providing an opportunity for the public to offer feedback that will help inform how concepts are refined and evaluated. Phase 1 of the study and Mobility Analysis were completed in early 2026. Phase 2 is underway and will continue through 2027.

The in-person meeting will be held as an open-house style presentation where individuals can view project plans and discuss comments or questions with the project staff. A formal presentation will begin at 6:00 p.m. The meeting location is ADA accessible.

Language assistance may be requested by contacting the CTDOT Language Assistance Call Line 860-594-2109. Requests should be made at least five (5) business days prior to the meeting. Language assistance is provided at no cost to the public and efforts will be made to respond to timely requests for assistance.

Individuals with hearing and/or speech disabilities may dial 711 for Telecommunications Relay Services (TRS).
