Business Insider hires Warren Cohen as Editorial Head of Video

I'm thrilled to share that Warren Cohen is Business Insider's new Editorial Head of Video.

An award-winning journalist and deeply experienced leader, Warren joins Business Insider from the New York Post, where he led and built the video team over the last 11 years. Under Warren's leadership, the Post grew its cross-platform views to more than 1 billion annually and quadrupled YouTube viewership, making the Post one of the fastest-growing news channels on that platform. Before joining the Post, Warren led innovative digital programming at VH1, where he worked for 13 years in several roles.

Warren has overseen acclaimed documentary series, and work under his watch has won multiple awards, including two Emmys. He began his career as a journalist covering the music business, writing for publications including Rolling Stone and Fortune.

Warren takes over this team at a crucial time. Business Insider's video continues to win major awards and delight our tens of millions of YouTube subscribers, while we have also expanded our social and on-site video and are streaming Live Q&As with guests from our offices.

This year, we've also massively expanded our distribution across FAST channels and smart TV apps, giving viewers more ways than ever to watch Business Insider - expansion we expect to continue.
