Cordova Road Stormwater Pipe Replacement
The City of Fort Lauderdale is working with Southeastern Engineering Contractors, Inc. to complete drainage repairs on Cordova Road between SE 7th Street and SE 8th Street. Work will include, but is not limited to:
- Replacing a 15-inch outfall pipe
- Asphalt restoration
- Sod restoration
Construction Schedule:
Work is expected to begin Wednesday, March 4, 2026, and will take approximately two weeks to complete. Work hours will take place Monday through Friday between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. This schedule is subject to change due to weather or unforeseen conditions.
Traffic impacts:
- The northbound lane of Cordova Road between SE 7th Street and SE 8th Street will be closed during construction.
- Access to adjacent properties will be maintained.
- Motorists are encouraged to use caution and follow posted signage in the area.
