Iconic Arizona brands join forces to drive community impact

Phoenix, AZ - The Arizona Cardinals Football Club and Avnet, a global technology solutions leader headquartered in Phoenix, have agreed to a multi-year partnership.

This collaboration brings together two Arizona-based organizations that share a commitment to community and education. A significant part of the relationship is investment in initiatives that uplift and empower communities across Arizona.

  • To promote awareness of and participation in girls' sports across the state, Avnet will become a Premier Partner of Girls Flag Football. Already an established leader in this space, the Cardinals were the first team to broadcast and fully-produce the Girls High School Flag Football Game of the Week as well as the first NFL team with a flag football campus at its home stadium. Avnet will be the presenting partner at multiple events.
  • Avnet will be a supporting sponsor of the STEM Combine at State Farm Stadium, an event designed to inspire students to pursue careers in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM).

In addition to community initiatives, Avnet will drive further brand awareness through its Cardinals sponsorship:

  • The "Avnet Red Zone" will be recognized each time the Cardinals penetrate the opposing 20-yard line. In addition to in-game promotion and recognition, Avnet will make a monetary donation to the Cardinals Foundation each time the team reaches the Avnet Red Zone.
  • Avnet will join in a number of marketing and activation opportunities as the Cardinals expand their footprint to Canada. With this commitment, Avnet becomes the first Cardinals partner with Canadian activation rights.
  • Avnet will also be included across an array of Cardinals marketing assets including stadium signage, advertising and exclusive client engagement experiences.
