Public Notice: Proposed Lease
ADL 234834
Pursuant to AS 38.05.945
(USGS Quad Map Seldovia C-5)

Pursuant to AS 38.05.070(b) the Southcentral Regional Land Office (SCRO) has made a Preliminary Decision to offer a 15-year lease to the PoleStar, LLC dba Barrowcliff Family Farms for agricultural purposes including the propagation and cultivation of produce, located near Anchor Point, Alaska. The lease requests the use of state land located directly adjacent to the applicant's private property, approximately 4.5 miles southeast of Anchor Point. The project would seek to expand the existing small-scale, organic family farm. The site is located within Section 24 of Township 5 South, Range 15 West, Seward Meridian.

The public is invited to review and comment on this Preliminary Decision. A copy of the Preliminary Decision can be found at https://aws.state.ak.us/OnlinePublicNotices/default.aspx. All comments must be received in writing at the above listed mailing address or e-mail on or before 11:59 PM on December 4, 2026. To be eligible to appeal DNR's Final Decision, under AS 38.05.035(i) (m), a person must have submitted written comments during this comment period.
