BOISE, ID - December 18, 2025 - Cumulus Media's NewsTalk KBOI 93.1 FM/670 AM in Boise, ID, announce that it partnered with the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Charlie Co., 4th Light Armored Reconnaissance Battalion and broke records once again for their annual holiday toy drive - tagged "Idaho's Largest Toy Drive" - benefiting Toys for Tots in Boise and children in Idaho, Eastern Oregon, and Northern Nevada. Now in its 9th year, the toy collection event was held at Sportsman's Warehouse on Fairview in Meridian, ID, from 6:00am to 7:00pm daily from November 28th through December 9th. When all was counted and measured, the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve reported the total amount given by the community filled 9.25 trailers with toys for all ages.
Over the course of the 12-day event, NewsTalk KBOI and the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve collected more than 24,022 donated new toys and new and good condition children's books and raised $69,845.65 for Toys for Tots from Treasure Valley Residents and businesses. After giving over 300 new and used bikes, this year, Idaho's Largest Toy Drive collected 423 new and used bikes. New bikes were given to the Toys For Tots mission. Used bikes were given to the Boise Bicycle Project where they can be refurbished and handed out for free throughout the year.

Toys for Tots Boise is part of Region 6, which includes Alaska, Arizona, California, Guam, Hawaii, Idaho, Nevada, Oregon, Utah, and Washington. In 2024, SSGT Weems was recognized for being the leading coordinator with the leading program.
