ROYAL CARIBBEAN UNVEILS VIBRANT FERRIES FOR ROYAL BEACH CLUB PARADISE ISLAND
NASSAU, THE BAHAMAS, October 1, 2025 - Royal Caribbean is set to deliver a bold first impression at Royal Beach Club Paradise Island with the arrival of a new fleet of water ferries, which will transport guests to the ultimate beach day at the first-of-its-kind beach club opening December 2025. From the moment guests arrive in paradise, they will experience the culture of The Bahamas across five water ferries, set to transform short-haul transfers by blending the efficiency of lightweight aluminum hulls with the vibrant spirit of the region.
"We are committed to delivering an exceptional, sustainable, and authentically Bahamian experience for our guests. These new vessels exemplify our dedication to operational excellence and innovation, seamlessly connecting visitors with the natural beauty and lively culture of The Bahamas from ship to shore," said Philip Simon, President, Royal Caribbean Group Bahamas.
Bahamas Transport Logistics (BTL), a 100% Bahamian-owned company that specializes in marine transportation will own and operate the Royal Beach Club Paradise Island water ferry business. This partnership reflects the company's commitment to including Bahamians in all aspects of the project and ensures that the Royal Beach Club ferries are managed by experienced professionals dedicated to upholding the highest safety standards and operational excellence.
The fleet features five colorful ferries, each reflecting the lively personality and tropical vibe of the destination: Flirty Flamingo (Pink), Sassy Starfish (Blue), Coral Calypso (Orange), Twisted Turtle (Green) and Lucky Lizard (Turquoise). The Royal Beach Club ferries' advanced navigation and propulsion systems enable quick turnaround times and ensure efficient and smooth guest transportation. The playful names and vibrant colors embody the lively, fun-filled spirit that guests can expect to experience in The Bahamas.
The first Royal Beach Club continues to take shape in the coming months ahead of its opening in December 2025, and at the heart of the experience will be the island nation of The Bahamas. From the idyllic location to the Bahamian food, culture, staff and now the vibrant water ferries, the all-new beach club combines the beauty and spirit of The Bahamas with signature Royal Caribbean touches across the experience, service, and design.
