TONOPAH, Nev. -The Bureau of Land Management today approved mineral exploration on about 40 acres of public lands across a 24,727-acre area in Railroad Valley of Nye County.

3PL Operating Inc. can look for valuable deposits of lithium, boron, tungsten, sodium, potassium, and phosphate in subsurface brine and geologic strata on mining claims owned by the company.

"This proposal required no modification and does not present a significant effect on the environment," said BLM Tonopah Field Manager Perry Wickham. "We are grateful for input from stakeholders and our resource stewards for actionable observations."

Additional information, including the signed decision record, is available at the BLM National NEPA Register. For more information, please email the Battle Mountain District Office at BLM_NV_BMDO_P&[email protected]or call 775-482-7800.
