Medixine Scholarship 2024

Medixine wants to promote research in digital healthcare services and systems. To boost Finnish expertise in the field, we award an annual scholarship worth 1.500 € for a congressional visit for one researcher or graduate student studying at a Finnish faculty (university or university of applied sciences). This year, the scholarship nominee will be chosen by RDI Director Johan Sanmark from Western-Uusimaa Well-being Services County in cooperation with Medixine.

Who can apply for the Medixine Scholarship?

You can apply for the scholarship if:

• You are a researcher or graduate student in a Finnish university or university of applied sciences, and your research focuses on health- or well-being technology OR
• You are a professor or teacher in the abovementioned faculty, mentoring students researching health or well-being technology topics. You apply for the scholarship for your supervised student.

Instructions for applying:

Write a free-form application where you describe your or your mentee's research topic, the congress or study tour for which you are applying for funding, and how it relates to the research.

Submit the application with the title "Scholarship 2024" to [email protected].

The application must be submitted to Medixine by 19 April 2024.

Selection process

The scholarship will be awarded at the Social and Healthcare congress ATK-päivät on 28 May 2024 in Tampere. Medixine will offer entrance (+ possible additional costs for traveling to Tampere) for the evening gala for the nominee. We will inform the nominee personally at the beginning of May.
