WABASHA, MN- Congressman Brad Finstad (MN-01) announced that Gundersen St. Elizabeth's Hospital in Wabasha, MN was awarded more than $1.6 million in federal funding as part of a Community Project Funding request submitted by Congressman Finstad earlier this year. Yesterday, Congressman Finstad called Hospital Administrator Jim Root to notify him of the award. <_o3a_p>
The award provides $1,601,954 million to be used for the hospital's primary care, rehabilitation, and retail pharmacy expansion project. The expansion will be between 15,000 - 18,000 square feet and offer physical therapy, occupational therapy, respiratory therapy, cardiac rehabilitation, and retail pharmacy services. <_o3a_p>
