Davenport Residents in Heritage Green at Providence Under Precautionary Boil Water Notice

Bartow, Fla. (Oct. 10, 2026) - A precautionary boil water notice has been issued for approximately 25 Polk County Utilities supported residences in Heritage Green at Providence subdivision in Davenport within the Northeast Region Public Water System.

This is in response to repairs for a damaged water meter, though repairs have been completed.
All water users in the specified area are advised to drink bottled water and/or boil water to a rolling boil for at least one minute for cooking and drinking.

This precautionary boil water notice will remain in effect until ongoing water sampling analysis has been completed. Polk County Utilities staff will issue a notice rescinding this precautionary measure once satisfactory results have been confirmed.
