An Ordinance Codifying Sanctuary City Status

On March 3, 2026, from 6 to 7 pm, the City Council will hold a Work Session in Civic Center Conference Room 113 B/C to review a draft of an Ordinance Codifying Sanctuary City Status.

  • Work Sessions are open to the public to observe the presentation and discussion.

  • No public comment is accepted during work sessions.

  • The Work Session will be broadcast into the Civic Center Auditorium for overflow seating.

At 7 pm on March 3, 2026, the City Council will relocate into the Civic Center Auditorium for the City Council Regular Session where a finalized copy of Ordinance No. 6513 will be considered in a single reading and will take effect immediately upon its passage by the Council and approval by the Mayor.
