For the 10th year, UCSB is named Santa Barbara's 'Best Place to Work'

The Current staff

The location, the culture, the community. What's not to love?

Marking a significant milestone, UC Santa Barbara for the tenth year running has been voted Santa Barbara County's No. 1 workplace in the Santa Barbara Independent's annual 'Best of Santa Barbara' readers' poll.

"For a decade, UC Santa Barbara has received this honor because our staff and faculty proudly foster a culture of collaboration and connection," said Chancellor Dennis Assanis. "This is an academic community that is dedicated to excellence, and our achievements in scholarship, research, teaching and innovation are only possible because we are genuinely dedicated to each other. We feel profoundly fortunate to work together on our campus - nestled between the mountains and the ocean - in order to serve the people of Santa Barbara and Goleta as well as communities all across our state, nation and world."
