2nd UPDATE: Suspect Arrested, Charged in October Fatal Shooting at 7575 Office City Drive

November 15, 2024- Charges have been filed against a suspect arrested in the fatal shooting of a man found at 7575 Office City Drive about 4:20 p.m. on October 20.

The suspect, Juan Vasquez, 17, is charged with murder in the 488th State District Court. A booking photo of Vasquez is attached to this news release.

The victim is identified as Brayan Rodriguez Baltodano, 24.

HPD Homicide Division Detectives P. Michon and C. Davidson reported:

Officers were dispatched to a shooting call at the apartment complex at the above address and found a male unresponsive in the front passenger side of a vehicle. He had suffered at least one gunshot wound. Paramedics were called and pronounced the man, later identified as Mr. Rodriguez Baltodano, deceased.

Further investigation developed Vasquez as a suspect in this shooting. Officers with the HPD Eastside Patrol Division Crime Suppression Team arrested Vasquez on Wednesday (November 13). He was subsequently charged for his role in this incident.

The investigation is ongoing.
