Venezuela: Prime Minister praises courage and competence of Portuguese operatives

The Portuguese Prime Minister Luís Montenegro showed his satisfaction with the rescue of a person who was alive in an operation led by the Portuguese Joint Operational Force in cooperation with the international search and rescue teams.

In a post on X, the Prime Minister noted the performance of the Portuguese operatives, stressing that "they honoured Portugal with an extraordinary sense of mission".

Luís Montenegro also left a message of profundo acknowledgement of the Joint Operational Force involved in the mission, thanking them for their commitment and noting that the operation is "an expression of Lusitanian belief, courage, and competence" a reason of pride for the all the Portuguese people.
