ATLANTA - State Representatives Viola Davis (D-Stone Mountain) and Kim Schofield (D-Atlanta) will help provide MARTA passes to assist individuals with transportation to Lieutenant Governor Burt Jones' 3rd Annual DeKalb and Fulton Constituent Services Day on Tuesday, August 26, 2025, from 3-5 p.m. at the Georgia Department of Community Health in Atlanta. "We understand that transportation can be a major obstacle for many constituents, and our goal is to remove that barrier so everyone can access the resources and support they need," said Rep. Davis. "Thanks to our ongoing advocacy and MARTA's partnership, we are able to offer these passes to make sure this important event is within reach for all." "I believe that people come first," said Rep. Schofield. "Removing barriers to constituent services ensures that every individual has equal access to critical resources. When we break down obstacles, we empower our communities, foster greater civic engagement and strengthen relationships between people and their government." The Lt. Governor's DeKalb and Fulton Constituent Services Day connects residents directly with state agencies and local government divisions, offering same-day services, information and employment opportunities.
