The Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center's (TTUHSC) School of Nursing Accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program has been ranked the No. 1 accelerated nursing program in Texas by RegisteredNursing.org.

TTUHSC's Accelerated Second Degree BSN is a rigorous 12-month hybrid program designed for individuals who already hold a bachelor's degree and want to transition into a career in nursing. The 61-credit-hour curriculum strategically combines online coursework with hands-on clinical experiences across multiple Texas locations, including Abilene, Amarillo, Dallas, Lubbock, Odessa and San Antonio.

"This recognition affirms our unwavering commitment to educating the next generation of nurses who are greatly needed across Texas and the nation," Holly Wei, Ph.D., RN, dean of the TTUHSC School of Nursing, said. "Since its launch in 2005, our Accelerated BSN program has graduated 1,069 nurses and we remain dedicated to preparing graduates who are ready to step into the workforce and make an immediate and significant impact in health care."

In addition to its innovative design, the program offers flexible learning pathways and financial aid opportunities for eligible candidates. Graduates emerge as practice-ready nurses, equipped to address today's complex health care challenges.

RegisteredNursing.org evaluates nursing programs nationwide based on factors such as academic quality, affordability, program flexibility and student success outcomes, including NCLEX-RN licensure pass rates.
