Citywide Brush Collection Following Storms

For Immediate Release
June 12, 2026

If you have tree debris from this week's storms, please stack it on the terrace for collection. Streets & Urban Forestry crews will do a citywide sweep over the next couple of weeks in addition to the scheduled brush collection.

Thank you for your patience as we continue to respond to damaged street trees and storm debris after multiple rounds of severe weather. Streets & Urban Forestry crews received nearly 300 reports of tree branches blocking roadways and sidewalks. Nearly all of this work has been completed. There is still some pruning and clearing of damaged branches to do but crews are actively addressing these needs over the next few days.

The Parks Division is managing cleanup of tree damage in City parks. Please let us know if there are any problems in your neighborhood park.
