Meeting with the Mayor of Larissa: Ambassador Tigran Mkrtchyan Discussed Prospects for Cooperation and Sustainable Development
29 October, 2025During his visit to the Thessaly region of Greece, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Armenia to Greece, Tigran Mkrtchyan, met with the Mayor of Larissa, Mamakos Athanasios.
The meeting focused on the possibilities of establishing relations with cities in Armenia.
Mayor Athanasios presented his city's governance concept, which emphasizes the development of a green economy. At the same time, the sides discussed prospects for organizing bilateral initiatives in traditional areas such as education and culture.
Mayor Athanasios expressed his deep gratitude to Ambassador Mkrtchyan for his decision to visit Larissa during the celebrations of the national "Ohi Day" and for making an official visit to the Thessaly region.
