Drew: Well, when we did 'Saturday Night Live.' I introduced you guys and I say, ladies and gentlemen, the very sexy Garbage.

Shirley: Which I remember because my heart swelled with pride.

Drew: But I couldn't just say Garbage.

Shirley: You wanted to add some extra sauce.

Drew: I did. So now this meme is like everywhere, like I say, ladies and gentlemen, the very sexy garbage, it's you and me, and then someone will reveal someone that they think is sexy.

Shirley: I love this for us.

Shirley Manson on Not Fitting In

Drew: By the way, sometimes I hear young girls saying like, I just want to fit in. And I'm like, what is that?

Shirley: Well, I think that's what was so great about the 90s is nobody really looked like they fitted in because everybody looked really unique, you know. So this festival's a bit like that. I feel like everybody here on this bill, we're all a bit weird, none of us took the easy route. You know, poor Chappell Roan gets it in the neck every 10 seconds because she's not playing by the rules, the nice girl by the rules.

Drew: You set a precedence back then that you could be tough and cool and brash, but sexy and bring people in, and that's not an easy line to walk.

Shirley: Well, look who's talking. I mean, I can remember being in my bedroom in Scotland. You did an incredible photoshoot. You were wearing boxing gloves. Do you remember that?...To me that was saying the same thing. So you were sweet and, and kind and everybody loved you. But you were photo, and super hot. Like I think you may have been topless on that shoot, Drew, but we won't mention that. But no, you were topless and you had boxing gloves on and you were giving this mixed message of like, it's great to be feminine and masculine, and a little weird and a little provocative all at the same time.

Hasan Minhaj on "Yearning" for His Wife Before They Were Together

Drew: This takes place in college, is it true you met your beautiful wife in college? Like you're college sweethearts?

Hasan: We are college sweethearts, but, Drew, I'm gonna you know, admit this on daytime.

Drew: Oh my God, please, I love an exclusive or a first.

Hasan: Sure, she's my college sweetheart and I've said that on the record, but at the time she was dating someone else, and so I was laying back in the cut. Waiting to shoot my shot and so this movie that we wrote, me and my co-writer Prashanth Venkataramanujam. The first page says based on painfully true events, so the two of us would go to these competitive collegiate Bollywood dance competitions. My wife was involved for real. She was like the president of SASA, and I would just kind of like I was lurking in the shadows.

Maitreyi: OK, don't say lurking.

Hasan: I was observing. I was observing and yearning. There we go, yearning in the shadows, yearning for her.

Drew: I guess when you say it that way, it does sound better.

Maitreyi Ramakrishnan on "Never Have I Ever"

Drew: Everyone in our house knows you and loves you, obviously from 'Never Have I Ever.' Mindy Kaling, I mean really, you did such an important meaningful. Is it true that Mindy Kaling out of thousands of girls found her connection with you?

Maitreyi: Yeah, and I still don't fully understand how or why. I appreciate that… Yeah, I mean, of course, 'Never Have I Ever' came out because or came to me as an open casting call that my friend found on Twitter when we were 17 and in high school. But honestly, I only like did that open casting call because I wanted to hang out with my best friend. Like I really just missed hanging out with them, and they're one of the most important people in my life, still my best friend today shout out Shahara, but it was so special that I got that opportunity because that character was someone who was so vulnerable and raw in telling her story about her grief, her grief journey with her father. And Mindy created a role for me that I didn't realize at the time would be, you know, something so monumental impactful, so impactful, and like it excites me that throughout the rest of my career I will always have people saying like I love that show like what a gift, especially as a first job and then now I'm just so thankful that I get to, you know, have another character, Maya, who is so full of heart and huge shout out to Hasan and Prashanth and Lena for giving me that gift. I never like thought I'd be so lucky to get another role that is so full of life and girlhood and friendship, and now we have the 'Best of the Best' and I'm so proud of it.

Hasan Explains His Ketchup Phobia

Maitreyi: There's a story, and I actually feel bad for you in this moment. Do you know why he can't do ketchup?

Drew: No, I don't.

Maitreyi: And you need to understand why, because I was making fun of him for this. I'm like, dude, it's a condiment, relax, it's not that deep.

Drew: Jimmy Fallon has a thing about mayonnaise that's actually helping me understand your ketchup thing because like he, it's like very serious for him.

Hasan: In the 2nd grade, in the lunchroom, there was a kid who would pick his boogers a lot and he started to get nosebleeds. One day during lunch we were having hamburgers and french fries with ketchup. While he was inhaling, and I think that's the right word to use, inhaling and devouring his french fries with ketchup, his nose was simultaneously bleeding, and he was inhaling both ketchup and his own serial killer DNA.

Drew: OK, I think you've earned the not. Like, don't, you don't have to.

Maitreyi: No, no, no, yeah, I feel bad for him. I don't feel that bad for him. OK, hang on, I don't feel that bad for him. Let's relax.
