INCIDENT SUMMARY: According to Sheriff Jeffrey J. Murphy, the Washington County Sheriff's Office arrested Donald L. Watkins (38) for Grand Larceny in the Fourth Degree, a Class E Felony. After an investigation into Welfare Fraud reported by the Washington County Department of Social Services.

Donald L. Watkins failed to report income he was receiving and received an over payment of $1,977.00 between April 1st,2023, and October 31st, 2023.

An arrest warrant was issued for Donald L. Watkins out of the Town of Fort Edward Court, and Watkins was later arrested as a result.

Charges Filed: Grand Larceny 4th - Value Property Greater Than $1,000

Watkins was arraigned in Centralized Arraignment Court on the warrant and will appear in the Town of Fort Edward Court at a later date.
