Extended Full Closure of Westbound Cabaldon Parkway to Westbound U.S. Highway 50 in Yolo County

Yolo County - Caltrans is notifying motorists of a 15-day full closure to westbound State Route 275 (SR 275)/Cabaldon Parkway as well as to the Jefferson Boulevard on- and off-ramp to SR 275.

The 15-day full closure is scheduled from 9 p.m. Friday, October 3 through 5 a.m. Friday October 17, allowing contractors to replace the existing pavement and shoulders along the westbound Jefferson Boulevard on- and off- ramps and the SR 275 to westbound US 50 on-ramp as part of the ongoing $280 million I-80 and US 50 Pavement Rehabilitation Project.

Ramps and connectors closed:

  • WB SR 275/Cabaldon Parkway to WB US 50 on-ramp
  • WB SR 275/Cabaldon Parkway off-ramp to Jeferson Boulevard
  • Jefferson Boulevard on-ramp to westbound US 50

Suggested detour from WB SR 275:

  • Take Grand Street to West Capitol Avenue
  • Then use Harbor Boulevard to continue to westbound US 50

Suggested detour from Jefferson Boulevard:

  • Use West Capitol Avenue to westbound Harbor Boulevard
  • Then use Harbor Boulevard to continue to westbound US 50.

Schedules are subject to change due to weather conditions, availability of equipment or materials, or other unexpected events.

This project includes $47 million from Senate Bill (SB 1), the Road Repair and Accountability Act of 2017. SB 1 provides $5 billion in transportation funding annually, shared equally between state and local agencies.

Road projects progress through construction phases more quickly based on theavailability of SB 1 funds, including projects partially funded by SB 1. Visit build.ca.gov/to learn more about transformative infrastructure projects happening in communities throughout the state.

Caltrans District 3 is responsible for maintaining and operating 4,385 lane miles in 11 Sacramento Valley and Northern Sierra counties. Caltrans reminds motorists to "Be Work Zone Alert" and slow in construction zones for the safety of travelers and crews performing these improvements.
