City Hosts "Build St. Pete" Trade Show for Local Construction Businesses

August 3, 2026 - The City of St. Petersburg invites local construction companies to attend the third annual "Build St. Pete" Construction Trade Show on Tuesday, August 4, from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at The Coliseum (535 4th Ave. N).

The trade show focuses on new opportunities and building meaningful connections, designed especially for small construction businesses in the St. Pete area. This free event welcomes companies of all sizes to showcase their services, meet buyers from a variety of agencies, and network with leaders shaping the industry.

Participants can connect with potential partners and take part in panels while surrounded by more than 80 vendor booths. Representatives from The Burg Bid, which, along with the Pinellas County Housing Authority, has been selected to lead the Historic Gas Plant redevelopment project, will be at the event to answer questions and provide information.

"We're excited to bring everyone together for this event," said Kourey Hendryx-Bell, manager of the Office of Supplier Development. "It's a chance to meet new people, exchange ideas, and help local construction businesses connect with real opportunities.
