ACC Launches Ad Highlighting Sen. Jon Husted’s Work to Make Ohio More Affordable

WASHINGTON (August 21, 2026) - The American Chemistry Council (ACC) today announced the launch of a new independent expenditure advertisement highlighting Senator Jon Husted's efforts to make life more affordable for Ohio families, support small businesses, and strengthen the state's economy.

The ad highlights Sen. Husted's support for policies that help small businesses invest and grow, creating jobs and boosting take-home pay for workers. It also underscores his support for expanding the child tax credit and lowering taxes on Social Security benefits to help Ohio families and seniors keep more of their hard-earned money.

"Senator Jon Husted is advancing policies that help Ohio families, workers, and small businesses succeed," said Chris Jahn, President and CEO of ACC. "His focus on affordability and economic opportunity is helping create a stronger future for communities across Ohio."
