Call for Nominations: 2025 Brewers Association Board of Directors Election

The Brewers Association is seeking self-nominations for the 2025 Board of Directors election. To ensure the commitment required to serve the industry, and to improve the efficiency of the nomination process, nominees must self-nominate.The deadline to submit a nomination is Thursday, July 3, at 5:00 p.m. MDT.

The board seeks nominees who possess one or more of the following:

  • Have prior or current Brewers Association committee or subcommittee experience; OR
  • Have served in an officer position with their state brewers guild; OR
  • Have unique perspectives, insights, or experience that will benefit the craft brewing community.

The Brewers Association is dedicated to the goal of building a culturally diverse board of directors that is committed to fostering equity and inclusion in the craft brewing industry. Women and nonbinary individuals, racial/ethnic minorities, members of the LGBTQ+ community, individuals with disabilities, and veterans are strongly encouraged to apply.

Nominees must be brewery owners or designated as the brewery voting member representative by brewery ownership.

There are four open seats: two for pub brewers, one for packaging brewers, and one for taproom brewers. The election will occur in the fall of 2025. The board terms are three years each and start in February 2026.

Nominees must include the following materials with their nomination :

  1. 45-second video
  2. Photo
  3. Candidate Statement
  4. Short Answer Questions

Board candidates should review the association's foundational documents and Board of Directors Expectations Agreement.

The governance and nominating committee will propose and set the final slate based on organizational gaps, such as geographic, size and candidate diversity, and achievements on behalf of the craft brewing community.
