Public meeting next week in Evart to discuss upcoming US-10 rebuilding project

EVART, Mich. - The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) is hosting a public meeting next week regarding this year's project to rebuild US-10 in the city of Evart from N. Industrial Park Drive to the Muskegon River. The meeting will provide information on project details, traffic maintenance and scheduling. The public is invited to stop by any time during the meeting to learn more about the project and provide comments.

Project information:
In partnership with the City of Evart, MDOT is investing approximately $11 million to rebuild 1.4 miles of US-10 from N. Industrial Park Drive east to the Muskegon River. The project includes asphalt reconstruction, concrete sidewalk and ramps, water main work, drainage improvements, traffic signal upgrades, new signs and new lighting. Work is expected to begin on April 6 and be finished in mid-November.
