The Clearwater Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA), in partnership with the Downtown Development Board (DDB), has extended its Open Call for Chalk Artists. Artists now have until Monday, April 28 at 12 p.m. (noon) to submit their applications.
This call supports upcoming chalk art initiatives funded by the DDB as part of the Cleveland Street Activation Plan, which focuses on enhancing the 400-500 blocks of Cleveland Street with colorful, temporary chalk art installations.
Artists with outdoor art experience are encouraged to apply. Those selected will be added to a roster for future opportunities and will receive project-based stipends. Installations will be featured in designated public spaces throughout Downtown Clearwater, including sidewalks and streets.
To participate, artists must carry general liability insurance and provide proof of worker's compensation coverage or a valid exemption.
Final Deadline: Monday, April 28 at 12 p.m.
