IUC joins in support of ‘A Day of Utility Service’ on MLK Day

NARUC adopts slogan 'Anybody Can Serve, So Let's Conserve'

The Iowa Utilities Commission joins other public utility commissions and the National Association of Regulatory Utility Commissioners (NARUC) in supporting Martin Luther King Jr. Day on Monday, January 20, as a day of community and utility service.

NARUC recommends that people find and engage in utility-related community service projects and find ways to help their neighbors or promote and practice energy conservation.

NARUC designated MLK Day as a Utility Day of Service by resolution in 2008.
