Calfee congratulates its client, Leopardo Energy, on their recently announced partnership with the City of Cleveland, Ohio, including Cleveland Mayor Justin Bibb, City Council and the Cleveland Division of Police, to transform the City's five police district buildings.

The $21 million investment is part of Mayor Bibb's Raising Investment in Safety (RISE) Initiative, a comprehensive public safety strategy focused on "strengthening public safety through strategic partnerships, law enforcement, and technological advancements improving safety efforts citywide."

Calfee client Leopardo Energy - a leader in sustainable building practices and early champion of the green energy construction movement in the Midwest - is leading the construction efforts to install new heating and cooling systems, roof and window replacements, and complete solar panel setups. Leopardo Energy has guaranteed $48 million in savings to the City over 20 years, and the savings will be used to offset project costs. The City's projects are expected to create 376 local jobs.

Leopardo Energy has conducted four similar projects in Northeast Ohio to date and 63 projects nationwide. The company is dedicated to helping their clients and the greater communities become more resilient by meeting clean energy goals, cutting costs, and creating jobs.
