Meeting of the Foreign Minister of Armenia with the President of the Chamber of Deputies of Luxembourg

On December 16, in Luxembourg, Foreign Minister of Armenia Ararat Mirzoyan had a meeting with President of the Chamber of Deputies of Luxembourg Claude Wiseler. The meeting was also attended by the Chair and members of the Committee on Foreign Relations.

The interlocutors noted with satisfaction that through consistent joint efforts bilateral relations have been elevated to the level of strategic partnership. In this context, the Joint Declaration signed on the same day was touched upon, which outlined the priorities of cooperation and also underscored the importance of interaction between the legislative bodies.

Minister Mirzoyan expressed his gratitude for the continued support provided to Armenia by the Parliament of Luxembourg.

Ararat Mirzoyan and the Speaker of the Luxembourg Parliament also emphasized the mutual readiness to implement the programs constituting the Armenia-EU strategic agenda.

During the meeting regional issues were discussed in detail. Minister Mirzoyan presented the processes aimed at normalizing relations with neighboring countries. Views were exchanged on the opportunities created for the development of regional connectivity. Addressing humanitarian issues was also touched upon.
