State Route 4 - Lane Closures
One-Way Traffic Control

San Joaquin County - The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will perform various closures on State Route 4 (SR-4) for maintenance and construction work within San Joaquin County. Work will occur as follows:

Interstate 5 - Ramp & Lane Closures
Closures From Benjamin Holt Drive To Sacramento County Line

San Joaquin County - The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will perform various closures on Interstate 5 (I-5) for maintenance and construction work within San Joaquin County. Work will occur as follows:

  • Overnight, full off-ramp closures from northbound I-5 at Benjamin Holt Drive for traffic signal work beginning Sunday, Sept. 27, though Friday, Oct. 2, from 8:30 p.m. until 6:00 a.m. Note: Traffic signals on Benjamin Holt Drive at I-5 and at Grigsby Place will be in flash during these closures as part of the city of Stockton's resurfacing project.
  • Overnight, alternating lane closures on northbound and southbound I-5 from Hammer Lane to the San Joaquin/Sacramento County line for construction beginning Sunday, Sept. 27, through Friday, Oct. 3, from 9:00 p.m. until 5:00 a.m. (northbound) and from 9:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m. (southbound).
  • Overnight, alternating full on and off-ramp closures at Hammer Lane, Eight Mile Road, SR-12 (Flag City), Turner Road, Peltier Road, and Walnut Grove/Thornton Road for construction beginning Sunday, Sept. 27, through Friday, Oct. 3, from 9:00 p.m. until 5:00 a.m. (northbound) and from 9:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m. (southbound).

The above listed lane and ramp closures on I-5 between Hammer Lane and the San Joaquin/Sacramento County line are required as part of the I-5 Anchor Pavement Project that will improve 34 miles of existing pavement and shoulders from Hammer Lane in Stockton to the San Joaquin/Sacramento County line. The project will also replace on- and off-ramps with upgraded concrete at Eight Mile Road, State Route 12, Turner Road, Peltier Road, and Thornton Road/Walnut Grove Road. State Route 12 - Lane Closures
One-Way Traffic Control For Utility Work

San Joaquin County - The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will perform various closures on State Route 12 (SR-12) for maintenance and construction work within San Joaquin County. Work will occur as follows:

  • Overnight, intermittent one-way traffic control from Peatland Road to Interstate 5 for utility work beginning Monday, Sept. 28, through Saturday, Oct. 3, from 9:00 p.m. until 4:00 a.m.

State Route 26 - Lane Closures
One-Way Traffic Control For Pavement Work

San Joaquin County - The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will perform various closures on State Route 26/Fremont Street (SR-26) for maintenance and construction work within San Joaquin County. Work will occur as follows:

  • Overnight, intermittent one-way traffic control from SR-99 to Murray Road for pavement work beginning Sunday, Sept. 27, through Friday, Oct. 2, from 8:00 p.m. until 5:00 a.m.
  • Overnight, intermittent one-way traffic control from Duncan Road to Flood Road/Front Street for pavement work beginning Sunday, Sept. 27, through Friday, Oct. 2, from 8:00 p.m. until 5:00 a.m.

Interstate 205 - Ramp & Lane Closures
Overnight Closures For Pavement Work In Tracy

San Joaquin County - The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will perform various closures on Interstate 205 (I-205) for maintenance and construction work within San Joaquin County. Work will occur as follows:

  • Overnight full closures of the eastbound I-205 on-ramp and #3 (right) lane at Grant Line Road for paving operations beginning Sunday, Sept. 27, through Friday, Oct. 2, from 8:00 p.m. until 7:00 a.m.
  • Overnight full closures of the I-205 on-ramps and #3 (right) lanes at Tracy Boulevard for paving operations beginning Sunday, Sept. 27, through Friday, Oct. 2, from 8:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m. (eastbound) and from 8:00 p.m. until 4:00 a.m. (westbound.)
  • Overnight full closures of the I-205 on-ramps and #3 (right) lanes at MacArthur Drive for paving operations beginning Sunday, Sept. 27, through Friday, Oct. 2, from 8:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m. (eastbound) and from 8:00 p.m. until 4:00 a.m. (westbound.)

Interstate 580 - Ramp Closures Overnight Closures At Patterson Pass For Construction

San Joaquin County - The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will perform various closures on Interstate 580 (I-580) for maintenance and construction work within San Joaquin County. Work will occur as follows:

Overnight, full on- and off-ramp closures on eastbound I-580 at Patterson Pass for construction beginning Sunday, Sept. 27, through Friday, Oct. 2, from 9:00 p.m. until 5:00 a.m. Overnight, full on- and off-ramp closures on westbound I-580 at Patterson Pass for construction beginning Sunday, Sept. 27, through Friday, Oct. 2, from 7:00 p.m. until 3:30 a.m.

Motorists should expect 5-to-10-minute delays and use alternate routes whenever possible. All work is scheduled to occur as listed but is subject to change due to traffic incidents, weather, availability of equipment/materials, and construction-related issues.
