LANE CLOSURE on I-79 to Begin Thursday, October 23, 2025, on Interstate 79, Mile Marker 139

Triton Construction will be closing the northbound and southbound fast lanes of Interstate 79, at mile marker 139, from 6:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m., from Thursday, October 23, 2025, through Friday, October 24, 2025, to install concrete barriers at the Junior Slaughter Bridge. The right slow lanes will remain open during this time.

Work is being done at night to minimize the impact on the traveling public.

Traffic will be maintained with flaggers. Expect delays. Motorists are advised to plan ahead and allow additional time for their commute. Inclement weather or unforeseen circumstances could change the project schedule.
