On January 11, 2025, Palm Beach County Victim Services staff and partners recognized Human Trafficking Awareness Month by participating in the Red Sand Project.
Human Trafficking Awareness Month is a time to take action to prevent and end forced labor and exploitation-a crisis affecting over 50 million people worldwide, including individuals in our county. Palm Beach County Victim Services is dedicated to recognizing the signs of trafficking and supporting victims.
Through the # RedSandProject , we stand against human trafficking and honor the millions affected. Filling sidewalk cracks with red sand symbolizes our commitment to those who often fall through the cracks in society.
Professionals, trusted adults, and peers are often the first to notice the signs. Visit https://htcpb.org/ to learn more. Together, we can make a difference. # HumanTraffickingAwareness
