Sign-Up to Receive Notifications for Notices of Enforcement Actions under the Packers and Stockyards Act

The USDA Agricultural Marketing Service (AMS) Packers and Stockyards Division (PSD) monitors industry activities and conducts regulatory compliance reviews and investigations to determine whether subject persons and firms are complying with the Packers and Stockyards (P&S) Act and regulations. AMS regularly publishes notices of enforcement actions taken under the (P&S) Act.

These notices include:

• Complaints - Actions taken by the Packers and Stockyards Division (PSD) against entities that have allegedly violated the P&S Act and regulations.
• Decisions (Consent (settlement), Default, Order) - Outcomes of administrative action taken by PSD against an entity for violating the P&S Act and regulations.
• Stipulations - Settlement agreements between PSD and an alleged violator of the P&S Act and regulations.

In addition to regular posting of enforcement actions on the AMS website, email announcements will now also be sent to registered subscribers interested in receiving direct notification when notices are published.
