New Teaser Video Calls on Fans to Back Release of Take That's Lost Track

26 August 2025

The campaign to bring Falling For You Girl - Take That's long-lost 1992 recording produced and co-written by Ian Levine - has taken another step forward with the release of a brand-new teaser video.

The track, recorded at the height of Take That's early success and featuring Robbie Williams and Gary Barlow sharing lead vocals for the first time, was originally intended as the follow-up to Could It Be Magic. But after label changes, it was shelved and has remained unreleased ever since.

Now a teaser video has been created to rally support, highlighting the track's history and significance while urging fans to sign the petition calling for its release.

Producer Ian Levine has said, "There's no doubt it would have gone straight to No.1," while The Sun described it as "another huge hit" and insisted the recording has "got to see the light of day."

With renewed media attention and growing fan momentum, the petition continues to gain signatures - boosted now by the teaser, which frames Falling For You Girl as a hidden gem ready to be rediscovered.
