Missouri Route 74/Emerson Bridge in Cape Girardeau County Reduced for Bridge and Pavement Repairs

Sikeston― Route 74/Bill Emerson Memorial Bridge in Cape Girardeau County will be reduced to one lane with a 12-foot width restriction as contractor crews perform bridge and pavement repairs. Weather permitting, work will take place Monday, March 2 through Tuesday, June 30.

Contractor crews will be working on the eastbound lanes, so head-to-head traffic will be shifted to the westbound lanes.

The work zone will be marked with signs and other traffic control devices. Motorists are urged to use extreme caution while traveling near the area.
